Assignment and fit
Rebuild styles, lists and table structure in an editable source before HTML production. Separate content decisions from formatting work so the next operator knows what is approved.
Inputs needed to quote
- Approved DOCX/XLSX and the intended output layer
- Written disposition of comments, tracked changes and hidden content
- Reference styles, table instructions and asset inventory
Identify whether the material is public, synthetic or private. For private work, confirm permitted processing and the transfer channel before sending the source. A source receipt is not automatic acceptance of its deadline.
Concrete deliverables
- Styled editable source and table reconstruction
- Source inventory and unresolved-content issue log
- Change summary identifying approved formatting adjustments
Production checks
- Inspect text boxes, headers, footnotes and fields—not just body paragraphs.
- Reconcile displayed spreadsheet values, units and signs; do not assume formulas are approved disclosure.
- Escalate contradictory redlines and blank figures rather than silently resolving them.
Reference: SEC production / role guidance. Verify the current requirements for the agreed job.
Scope boundaries
No legal drafting, accounting judgement or unilateral acceptance of tracked changes.
The contracted review owner approves the final candidate. A later edit changes the version and may require renewed approval. Production acceptance and filing authorization are separate.
Business-specific handoffs
Quote and schedule
Cost follows source complexity, output layer, review effort and revision allowance—not a universal HTML page count. A rush slot is accepted only when inputs and reviewer availability fit the actual capacity.
How quotes are structured →Financial typesetting and the next production layer
Financial typesetting can mean editable Word/Excel preparation, PDF page composition or HTML presentation. We scope only the agreed document-production layer. A clean Word manuscript is not yet a completed HTML or tagged filing package.
